The End Is Near? WHAT!?
No, I don't mean the end of mankind. Now that I think about it, I don't think anyone ever said this in a positive way. What I mean by this though is: The end of this project is near!

We Almost Done!!
(Sorry for the incorrect grammar up there.) Honestly I am glad that it is almost done because I don't like having to keep up with all of these blogs. I have missed only one of them so far. I also remember having to do this same exact project a long time ago. With that one I chose to redo my whole room because I had just moved into the house I currently live in right now. Anyways, I'm counting down the days when this is over. I'm so excited!! Sorry Mr. Barker, but I've done this before and I'm slowly coming to a blank of what to put on these blogs. Everyday I seem to put things that are either somewhat relevant or no where close to what my topic is for this project. Thanksgiving So last week we had our Thanksgiving break. I spent some time over in Kentucky and then in Ohio. It was a long car trip but we had fun. It seemed like every time I was in the car I was sleeping. Every night I didn't sleep until maybe eleven or twelve. Yeah, I know that's not seem too "impressive" or anything, but if you knew what I had to put up with everyday then it would make sense. After Thursday, my mom, uncle, brother, sister and I, went on a "little" hike (I'm just kidding. It was not a little hike like my uncle said it was.) to go see Natural Bridge in KY. Yeah it seemed like heck walking up there! But it was worth it. When we got to the top we got an amazing view. November 12, 2018
The day marks the day where a legend has fallen. For those who don't know what I'm talking about here is what happened: Stan Lee died at the age of 95. He was the creator of the MCU (Marvel Comic Universe). When I got the news that he died I was at Wal-Mart, and I was in despair. The only thing that went through my mind at that moment was a little video montage of all the small scenes he was showed up in all of the movies. I'm honestly drawing a blank on what those are called. May he rest in peace. Just Now
I just now realized that I missed a weekly blog post. When I was going through my blogs just now I saw that I was short some. At the moment I didn't know how much I was short because I just saw that I didn't have the amount I needed. I hope I don't do that again. How I'm Doing So far both of my stories are going pretty good. Wait, I just realized that I haven't put up my other story yet! Don't worry I'm going to get on that... soon... Something Is Missing... Yes, I took down that one poem ("The Innocent One") the other day. I apologize to those of you who enjoyed it and was hoping for a more revised version. I decided to take it down because I didn't really enjoy it myself to be honest. I don't have a personal reason of why I did, but I just wasn't feeling it. You know what I mean? But to make up for the deleted poem I am currently making another story. A New One I am making another story to make up for the deleted poem. This next one is going to be depressing and it's going to be based on something that's true. I'm not going to say what it's based off of but I'll give you a hint (actually I am going to basically tell you right now, but I'm not going to be direct about it): it's going to be the same as to what J.K. Rowling's dementors were to represent. My Progress So Far So far, I have made two things: a poem and I am currently in the process of making a story. This next story is a story that I know I will work on until the end. The thing that's different about this story versus the last story I tried to make is that I am allowing the story to develop itself. With the last story I knew what I wanted but I didn't know how to put that in words, so everyone would be able to enjoy it as I did in my mind. My Current Story This story is going to be amazing in the end. I just know it. I will share with you some of the beginning and you can tell me what you think of it so far. What I chose for my inspiration was a movie called "The Village" by M. Night Shyamalan. It was a pretty good movie if you're in to mystery and suspense. I suggest that you watch it. What To Write About? Where I get my inspiration for my stories or poems are from past books I've read. Or even from things that happened in my life. I also try to make one story like another story that someone else wrote. Where You Write... Where you write does affect your writing. It's not just your writing but any other kind of creativity as a whole. For example, if you were to write in a setting that is dark and depressing then you may be enticed to write about negative things. What I've Got Done..
The only thing I got done was three paragraphs this past week. I know what I want to do with this story, but I'm still learning how to execute my ideas onto paper. I asked my brother for his opinion last night on one particular paragraph and we got into a discussion if poetry was the same as a short story. What Am I Doing? I decided to do my project on story writing. I chose to do this for my project because I've always wanted to write a short story for a long time. The problem was I could not get my thoughts onto paper and let other people enjoy these random stories that I make up in my head. How Will I Do This? I will write in my spare time during the school week. On the weekends I will work for maybe a total of eight hours. Yes eight! But I won't work eight hours straight. No! |
